Like others have stated, such changes are too late to implement considering you'd completely have people's efforts wasted. These changes would hurt the server and its population more than it would benefit the server. Besides a specific number of mules allowed is very "awkward". Why exactly 3? How would that even be moderated? For such systems to work, it would constantly be required to have GMs policing the game and making sure nobody cheats. The more realistic approach is to open channel 3 if issues really are as bad as you think you are. But from personal experience, I haven't stumbled upon such issues at all with mini bosses like ZMM/MM. Now, idk about the state of LPQ but every time I hear from people around LPQ (or any PQs for that matter), the issue isn't so much that both channels are taken but that there aren't enough people to party. Finally, I've always been of the opinion that if a person is willing to control multiple characters in PQs, they should be allowed to. PQs quickly become a chore and I can imagine it's even worse when you're controlling more than one character. Also I think the server benefits from all the scrolls those people bring to the market. It makes the server feel more alive. 🙂

Being a new player on Phoenix is very overwhelming considering how difficult it is to get going. It takes a while before you start making enough mesos to afford potions. That's why I'd love to see pet items be sold cheaper for lower level players. 1.5m per item is just stupid expensive for new players getting started here. Prices could be as low as 300k per pet item with a duration of 30 days for players level 50 and lower. This should also be a one-time buy so people can't "refresh" their item duration just before they level to 51. These items could be listed at the very top of the pet store NPC. They should be unlisted for players above level 51 for clarity.

I agree with you that there's actually no need for compensation if everything is fully refunded. However, so far I've only had my EXP refunded. I don't think I'm the only one who still is missing some stuff 🙂

I think it would be best to compensate players for the recent rollback incident by giving people short EXP coupons that they get to decide when to use, instead of a live 1.5x event which will turn into a shitfest. Last time EXP coupons were given to players, was for returning players who hadn't played for a long period, I think around November/December. By compensating players in this fashion, players also won't have to deal with FEAR OF MISSING OUT. Players can choose to take out their EXP coupon out of Cash Shop whenever they like, to activate it. If this requires a postponing of the compensation, I am personally completely fine with that.

Neither is Ironman and all these other restriction things recently added so we're clearly not going 100% GMS-like. 🙂

Maybe it's worth mentioning that I was in a party when I entered CS. I think I was expelled while I was in there. Not sure if this could lead any of this weirdness however.

One thing I miss most about Maple is seeing people walking around with gear that people nowadays usually don't really use, because the game has been figured out by now. It is very rare seeing a thief rocking a full level 50 set of equipment. The majority of people have learned to min-max and build more efficiently to get as much out of their stats as possible. .. Which is why I would like to suggest the anvil system! Just like in the official game, make it possible to transfer stats over on another item. Or make it possible to turn an item into a purely cosmetic item, removing all its stats. This would also allow the players to have quite a lot more customization, which makes things interesting. You could even put a fee to an NPC selling this service and maybe make it a small meso sink or something. Think about it. Instead of having everyone wear ugly ass DeXlEsS gear or whatever, you could be seeing a lot more diversity. I could rock a Dark Pilfer over a Zakum Helmet in the future!

I think the screenshot explains it pretty well. No clue how to reproduce this. When I got a hold of BobMarley, I asked him to disband the party and I was not stuck in the 1-man party anymore.

Sometimes when you exit the cash shop and try to heal yourself on a cleric, heal doesn't seem to apply but the animation shows. I had to save myself with a potion. I joined Phoenix again december 1st and this has only happened to me twice. I have no clue how to reproduce it unfortunately. I don't know if you can do anything with this information, but I figured it's worth noting down 🙂

I used to adore the sleepywood forums back in the days, which some of you might remember. One of the most fun threads there would be was the latest accomplishment threads, which we're seeing on every other server nowadays. So I figured, why don't we have one? ----------------------------------------- I leveled to 64 on my HS mule. 17 levels to go, then I can finally get to play the game. 😎 Yes, I play the game in 1366x768 and in full-screen, even though those backgrounds are fucked.

It'd be nice if this sort of stuff wasn't added in-game and these settings were things you can enable/disable through the website by logging in. I personally prefer the idea of the game being presented as vanilla as possible.

Right now when you search for a specific player, the player shows up but in no context and it seems to be listing other players with similar names. It'd be nice if, when you search for a specific player in the [All] category, you get directed to the page the player is at according to overall rank. So for instance, when you search for my character, the search function should send me to my character and maybe highlight my character by putting it in the center of the list with another background color. To demonstrate, I made a beautiful illustration in paint. This is how the search function should filter a character.

Because you acknowledge the fact that these changes are applied way too late into the server's life, that alone should be enough reason not to pursue this path with your stance on buff mules, mules and multilogging in general. You're proud for replicating and giving people a real GMS-like experience. There were no restrictions on any sort of mules back in the day. This kind of completely game changing stuff should've been established in the very beginning, before the server's release. Not in the middle or the peak of Phoenix. Don't make the hundreds of hours invested on this server be in vain for the people who have been working on mules.

Just like @WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW I feel like some of the rules aren't specified well enough. For people like myself, who have been leveling a HS mule for hundreds of hours to use later on, it would suck suddenly not being allowed to use 2 characters at once to effectively benefit from HS. Kinda brings back PTSD from omegalol sm. I already explained my situation and thought process to you so please reconsider the rules specifically for HS mules. They should be allowed to gain EXP while in a party of 2 of your own characters, so you can properly benefit from HS. The majority of people leveling a HS mule will be letting the priest stay at level 81, which means later, it won't be gaining EXP either way. To those of us who've invested so much time into a HS mule, only to have these rules enforced upon us out of nowhere, it would suck big pp and feel like a huge time waste.
