Is it viable to start your first account as a dexless assassin?

Sure, why not? I did/am. Some will probably argue that for long term potential, a cleric first to raise funds would be better. But if you just want to start playing the server, and you've always mained a sin, I don't see a problem.

if you don't have the money to replace normal claws with maple claws then you probably won't do as much damage
