  1. Can confirm this works on M2 Macbook with Windows 11 inside Parallels 18.1.1. Tried a few other options including UTM and CrossOver but those didn't work. UTM doesn't have GPU emulation for Windows yet. Wine-based solutions (like CrossOver) stopped working for me many patches ago, I think because of something in Phoenix.dll. Maybe Arnah can fix this if he cares enough. Some tips for Parallels: - If the window is tiny, set the resolution to "Scaled" in Parallels - Set the keyboard to "Optimize for Games" in Parallels settings to get modifier keys like alt/ctrl/shift to work properly - Coherence mode uses a lot less CPU but the game lags when scrolling the screen.
  2. +1, a lot of people planned their gear based on haste mules existing, now with them gone it would be nice to get some extra speed to compensate. Pet equips should definitely be permanent. Expiring pet equips are bad design, they're kinda pay2win/vote2win and scrolling a pet equip and having it expire just feels bad.
  3. According to bbb Homunscullo is supposed to drop stuff (including Steelies!) https://bbb.hidden-street.net/monster/homunscullo But on Phoenix it drops nothing
  4. https://bbb.hidden-street.net/quest/mu-lung-nihal-desert/eliminating-king-sage-cat King Sage Cat doesn't drop the Antidote Marble so the last part of this quest is impossible to do. Or maybe it does drop but at a low rate, in which case the rate should be increased. Similar quests where you have to get a quest item drop from a miniboss have a high drop rate for the item.
  5. turning in 1k bellflowers to Mr. Ku for "Gathering Up the Lacking Ingredients"
  6. I don't know if this is a bug or intended but it tripped me up. At the part of this quest where you put the 3 stones in the pentagram (see 3:30+ in the following video): After clicking top-left-right-middle I clicked the middle of the pentagram again expecting to see a message like at 4:17 of the video. But what actually happened was my quest got un-completed and I had to forfeit it and go all the way back to Alcaster to get the stone again and redo it.
  7. Balanced Fury (BF) is the strongest star currently in the game but takes incredibly long to farm. The fact that you can only recharge them in NLC doesn't actually do anything to mitigate the item's strength, as regular characters can park a mule in NLC and transfer or trade the stars when they need to recharge. All it does is screw over ironmen. Judging by how few BFs have been crafted so far, the low badge drop rates we have now are plenty enough to keep its power in check. I propose we make BF rechargeable everywhere as a small buff to ironmen and a QoL upgrade for everyone else.
  8. After putting the 4 items in front of the statues and clicking on the npc, the dialog box that's supposed to tell you how many are correct/incorrect does not appear. As a result you can't clear this stage and can't progress in the PQ. This is the dialog that was "fixed" in v61 because you used to be able to skip spawning the mobs.
  9. I think you can simplify this and split it up into smaller restrictions so that people can pick the parts they like. Otherwise I don't think anyone would play this mode. - "Cursed": Nerf to everything RNG based. Halved drop rate, dropped equips more likely to roll bad stats, halved scroll success rate, always gain the lowest possible HP/MP when you level, maybe quests/exchange/crafting have a 50% chance to give no rewards. - "Punishing deaths": Safety charms not allowed and lose stuff when you die. I wouldn't make it take away slots because the 4 slots restriction already exists for that purpose. Instead make you lose a random equip (either currently equipped or from your equip tab), a random stack from your use tab, or half your mesos. Or maybe all three of those. If this mode is made too punishing then you might as well just pick hardcore instead. - "Nightmare": You deal half damage and mobs deal double damage. You don't need to halve EVERYTHING as it effectively becomes a 4x or 8x nerf in some areas. For example if you deal half damage then it already costs twice as much in MP pots to deal the same amount of damage. Then if you also make pots cost double and heal half as much it's like an 8x nerf. I would not include exp, inventory slots, or stack sizes in this restriction either because half exp and 4 slots restrictions already exist for that.
  10. Allow them to enter GPQ but not to loot in the bonus stage. Having others farm you scrolls through GPQ goes against the spirit of ironman and would be completely overpowered compared to the best ways we currently have for scroll farming.
