Brown Work Gloves Black Umbrella Liu Bei Dagger Diamond Dagger Yellow Snowshoes Plastic Bottle Fan Paintbrush Bathrobes Some of them I may be wrong about coming with Showa. Either way, the point of this thread is to point out that all these items powercreep the rest of the items in the game. If BWG exists, what is the point of class based gloves? If Black Umbrella exists it is only more encouraged to go lukless on a Magician and thus mage items become more obsolete. Some of these items look cool and could be made into NX cosmetics in the future maybe. Some already are an NX cosmetic (Liu Bei Dagger). Bathrobes could be an exception and it seems like a lot of people want them. Players want them only because the Sauna Robe is obtainable only once per character, at level 30 through a quest. Currently, the meta is that you scroll an overall, which is why players feel that bathrobes are a necessity. Personally, I think different because this issue is entirely "fixed" with v56, where we hopefully have topwear and bottomwear LUK/DEX/STR scrolls introduced. This allows us to choose either path (OA or top/btm). - Bathrobes could have their level requirement increeased to 50 and their Speed removed. You get 3-4 dex or 3-4 int out of it and it only drops from a difficult, endgame boss. People also dont go for shoes past lv90 ever anyway. You could argue the 7 slots is powercreep but again, its only obtainable at the endgame, if people want to upgrade their shoes by the time they can kill anego why not let them? Gives people more reason to kill anego aside from the meh exp(unless you wanna host Big Boss squad runs). Black umbrella only helps priests cause it is a one-handed sword Plastic bottle is a slightly worse maple wagner, and fan requires a bunch of str put in and/or str gear Paintbrush is a jump in-between wooden wand and yellow umbrella Liu bei is actually op, but it has a 1/100k drop on bms(pretty sure thats what arnah's using) from 1 mob in 2-3 maps that doesnt have a lot of that 1 mob (Extra A). its not even worth going out of your way to farm, you'll probably just get so many plastic bottles you can scroll a good plastic bottle Bathrobes give pl0x just as long as it hav 10 slots 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Normal luk mage has been obselete (except for fp) since the release of lama/nocturnal staff, majority of those that went normal luk has full knowledge that they are weaker but they prefer the aesthetics. (buff to non dk/hermit class) I think all these new eqs will make the showa exciting, removing or nerfing them makes it's boring i feel, 0 fun. (same ol shit if its nerf to the core) if all the new items and eqs are gonna be nerfed again and again (not as OP as SC/FS/PACs), we should have just stopped at Leafre and not release showa. Otherwise if you find a Shinkita you're just going to NPC it. Find a Deadly Fin? NPC. This is even worse for mage weapons and armor and adding these items to the game is just adding more garbage, instead of taking care of what is already causing items to be garbage. An idea that came to mind recently regarding bathrobes is, they could simply just be replaced with sauna robes. Sauna robes could sell instead of bathrobes, probably with an increased price. This way you have an option to obtain a free sauna robe through the quest, or simply buy one, but it should probably be somewhat costly. Maybe something like 200k. Should have done it to Maple EQs , Nocturnal Staff & Sauna Robes. Not sure how the community likes (those that doesn't likes it may not even be playing anymore) it but I certainly don't mind the implementation of the new items as it doesn't really change the "End Game" for now. Game will still be as hardcore tho. Lets see whether Arnah wanna spice things up, if not.. Custom Changes.. seems to be not improving QOL much, has been decreasing ever since.
