UI and Library sound good, but what's wrong with the website?
-
To add to my previous post, I believe that if this is done, it should be in the form of 2x coupons which you can choose not to use, as I would prefer not to taint my personal sense of accomplishment and prestige by being forced to play at double rates for a whole 48 hours( ! )
-
I swear to Jesus if this goes from a 48-hour event to a 1-week event to a 1-month event to a "hey this is a 1x server btw" like a certain other server for another game, which I recently ditched The argument that a 2x event would bring players to a server advertised as 1x is also inane; if anything, it would push away people like me who want to play on a 1x server

Things to take into consideration when adding shield scrolls
Fruit Shop Owner replied to Kradia's topic in Suggestions
To clarify for people who are less familiar with formulas and whatnot; you can make your own conclusions: Warriors: Although the listed weapon attack of a one-handed and a two-handed weapon of the same level, for example, may be the same, two-handed weapons receive a higher coefficient from strength. In the case of swords, that should be 4.0 for one handed compared to 4.6 for two-handed. These coefficients are used with other factors in the complete formula, but what matters is that two-handed weapons should hit harder. This, by extension, also means that they overpower more of a monster's weapon defense than one-handed weapons (unlike player defense, monster defense can make a more substantial difference, although at some level of power it might be insignificant). There's also weapon speed versus reach, which might not be much of a dilemma for most people, but it's still something to consider To recap, two-handed weapons hit harder, penetrate more monster defense, and may have greater reach; one-handed weapons are faster. In my opinion, weapon attack for shield would be acceptable for warriors, as it would give one-handed weapons a sufficient boost to match two-handed weapons - if they even need it, which is arguable For bandits, I don't have any significant opinions - if it feels like they already beat the other classes in damage/dps, avoiding a further buff might be desirable, but it might be worth considering what bandits lack that other classes have. The answer is nothing Mages - although it wouldn't encourage people to invest in LUK, I don't much see a problem with Shield INT. If you're pure int, you get more int/matt; if you've got luk...you get more int/matt. This may be a good opportunity to promote luk investments, but doing it by aborting other scrolls feels kinda artificial and forced I play almost exclusively with unusual builds, but part of their charm for me is making them work in a world where they aren't expected to work. Twisting the game to make them work kinda takes away from that -
Alright, things are probably the same here, but I want to make sure. The main reason I have doubts is because BBB/Archive Hidden Street shows different ore rewards for different jump quests of the same tier
-
Yep, that's what I'd expect, but the Forest of Patience in Ellinia gave me a jewel ore (I don't remember which one exactly) and then a mineral ore, probably because there are only 2 tiers there. The pattern likely applies to the other two, so I can probably merge those if we're sure that they follow that pattern, in which case this might as well just become a pre-answered topic in the Questions forum. Did you farm Shumi on this server?

Very incomplete "guide" that would probably take some community input to finish. Information on BBB/Archive Hidden Street is either incomplete or inaccurate for Phoenix, so I thought I'd start this off. Might be a niche guide, but some ironmen in particular might find it useful (I can vouch for that after murdering snails for 2 days trying to get garnet ore...) If you have confirmed information on what items have been rewarded from certain repeatable quests, or if you notice any inaccuracies, share here so I can update this Ores are divided into 3 categories: Minerals, Jewels, and Crystals. The rewards listed are items that are confirmed; there may be others. Quests whose rewards seem to have been fully uncovered are underlined ======================================================= John's Pink Flower Basket / Deep Forest of Patience 1-2 (level 15): - 2x Mineral ore (exact types unknown; likely all except gold) John's Present / Deep Forest of Patience 3-4 (level 30): - 2x Jewel ore of any kind except diamond and black crystal John's Last Present / Deep Forest of Patience 5-6 (level 60): --- Shumi's Lost Coin / Construction Site B1: - 2x Mineral ore of any kind except gold Shumi's Lost Bundle of Money / Construction Site B2: Likely 2x of any jewel ore except diamond and black crystal (unconfirmed) Shumi's Lost Sack of Money / Construction Site B3: --- Sabitrama and the Diet Medicine / Forest of Patience 1-2 (level 25): - 2x Mineral ore (Bronze...) OR jewel ore (unknown) Sabitrama's Anti-Aging Medicine / Forest of Patience 3-4 (level 50):

Can a dragon knight kill himself using Sacrifice? Also, will you die if you use Sacrifice right after you are "hit" by a boss ability which reduces HP to 1 (ignoring the MP aspect)? Does Sacrifice ignore weapon defense of mobs that are higher level than you? Asking this because I've heard that Assaulter ignores weapon defense if you're higher than the opponent, so Sacrifice might have a similar quirk not specified in the description

I noticed you have a custom configuration file, so that got me thinking that maybe sound in background (sound playing while the game is minimized/not in focus) could be a feature. Would be particularly useful for hardcore players who would be alerted to unexpected danger while alt-tabbed. Unless I'm daft and it already exists...?

Ok I think I get the picture. Arnah and company know better than me what would be most comfortably implemented, but for now I'll just address the solution which seems most reasonable to me - #1 . To expand on it, an alternative form might involve a shorter time frame, taking/avoiding damage, and whether this extends to the healer, the healed, or both. The biggest hurdle is probably in the implementation, but I'm sure we can keep coming up with more developer-friendly solutions

Hello everyone, profesional problem solver here. Maybe I shouldn't poke my nose in a topic I'm not entirely familiar with, but let's clarify something for me - what exactly is the "heal abuse" in question? I'm going to assume that it doesn't refer to just actively healing someone without doing damage yourself, because that's kind of a core concept of the healer archetype, and banning for that would be supremely stupid. Is there a mechanic which allows you to heal someone once and go afk while gaining experience? If so, there should be enough solutions for that problem; plus, cleric tends to be sort of a support class that relies on other people so that shouldn't be much of a problem either. Is it something else entirely? Regardless, a ban is not a solution - it is patchwork at best, used to hold the flow of an overwhelming problem while an actual solution is found and implemented; at worst, it is a way of demonstrating that you hold power over another person, or a kindergarten-style way of "punishing" people - I trust that this server is not like that.
