Phoenix: 2x EXP Weekend Drop Event

We should have a 48-hour period of double experience from mobs only. The Anniversary event coming up would be a great opportunity as old players return to farm Maple Weapons for themselves and the new players that a 2x event would bring to the server.

I swear to Jesus if this goes from a 48-hour event to a 1-week event to a 1-month event to a "hey this is a 1x server btw" like a certain other server for another game, which I recently ditched

The argument that a 2x event would bring players to a server advertised as 1x is also inane; if anything, it would push away people like me who want to play on a 1x server

I think 48 hours is a bit much. Maybe something like 2 hours for NA, 2 hours for EU on a Saturday and Sunday would be more reasonable.

2x or 1.5x EXP weekend with every big update/event.

Like "Christmas EXP weekend"  or "Summer event EXP weekend" .

To add to my previous post, I believe that if this is done, it should be in the form of 2x coupons which you can choose not to use, as I would prefer not to taint my personal sense of accomplishment and prestige by being forced to play at double rates for a whole 48 hours( ! )

Last anniversary, he gave everyone 4 hours of 2x in the form of EXP coupons that activates immediately when retrieved from cash shop so he may do the same this year.
