  1. +1 would be cool if the lvl 90/100 gear for these classes wasn’t insta-npc
  2. When I log on and look at my online friends, there are always a handful that are not actually online. When I click on the friend it shows me My Location instead of theirs, and they are always shown as in my channel. /find on them then shows them not online. This has been ongoing but I know you said its been difficult to replicate. Just wanted to add it as a forum post for your records.
  3. After speaking with some of the new players who join our server, it seems like there's a really steep hill for them to climb when they end LPQ lvls. OPQ is not popular enough to run consistently, and with mini bosses becoming such a big source of scrolls now the scroll prices have plummeted. This creates a probelm where the low level player has to farm more big drops/scrolls for mesos for pot funding. Now that steely is so low cost, it's not nearly as big of a jumpstart to their potential funding than before from leprechauns for example. Pretty much all the LPQ scrolls have dropped in price a fair bit, and almost all the scrolls worth anything are from high lvl mobs. Part of this is due to the lull in player activity while waiting for new content, but that is also the low pop problem and the ones who will come back at new patch will be mostly end game players. I feel so bad for these new players, feeling like they can't enjoy grinding when making meso is such a roadblock. This issue is only circumvented by classes like cleric who are able to start grinding at mobs while not using hp pots. The majority of new players hit that post-pq era and need help from the higher levels, but then it seems lonelier with so few new players to party with at a time.
  4. +1 The attack difference seems low compared to other physical damage based classes.
  5. +1 it would definitely be good to have other spots that felt as good as new skele mini dungeon, plus some classes are better in other maps.
  6. Hopefully arnah will reconsider, but he doesn’t seem to change his mind often. Best of luck it would def help warriors out a lot
  7. Didn’t realize but someone also pretty much put in this suggestion, and it was declined. Not much use to resubmit this idea if it’s already been suggested.
  8. +1
  9. +1 for warrior players, seems to be most of the reason the class in general is so difficult to level up with. If they burn a lot of money everywhere they train it's definitely hard to keep going without a pocket heal. I can't count the number of warrior players I've seen give up because of how huge of a wall they hit for potion costs. It's also a big reason why players like Explosive stay at goby forever. This would definitely devalue Elixirs, and P Elixirs though, so idk how that would change the marketplace.
  10. Agree with this point, it would help a lot with those few seconds where you are against a single target, before the mobs spawn up again. Not nearly enough of a buff to make priest single target insane, more of a QOL for a really underpowered skill. It doesn't even get maxed on most priests til 12x or 13x
  11. I can see the idea behind these proposals, but I would also be wary of a situation where priest solo exp is better than in a party. Buffing HS for the whole party by a decent amount with active priest would definitely have worries of abuse, but arnah already has anti-leech built in to Phoenix now. I think the issue with priest isn’t our exp/hr necessarily and more of a feeling of being weak, since we are gaining sustainability vs other classes yet doing less DPS. (At higher levels we do get stronger with the exponential magic equation, but it’s definitely highlighted in holy weak maps) Part of that disparagement I think is that there are so many high level high DPS players that at a map like skelegon a priest that isn’t as high level will not be able to kill remotely as quickly. This causes you to need a dk to duo with if the party wants to keep consistent kill rates in each plat. The way to get past this hump seems to be to level up and close the gap. Bonus exp changes might help with this gap. As a priest player, I definitely see the benefits of the class but the fact minibossing is so unavailable is a big feeling of missing out sometimes. Having no significant single target damage is definitely the reason, which unfortunately is part of the class. Kradia has always said that priest isn’t underpowered, he feels if anything it is overpowered. I will admit right now we have one of the best places to be strong, as skelegon is the best place for high exp party play. Before that himes was also a huge increase for best EXP/hr for priests solo or duo compared to what used to be half that at deep ludi. We also are able to farm at a lot of different maps with good mobbing, whereas others excel better at places with spread out monsters or single target. I think that Kradia’s idea of buffing bonus EXP in parties definitely would incentivize party play more, with less worry of abuse cases but it doesn’t solve the issue of priest feeling like the odd man out when DPS is what is needed. It feels like if you want to mini boss you need to make a different class for that, it won’t ever be our forte. That’s why a lot of people who have a priest seem to make alt high lvl chars. Priest is at the end of the day the support class that makes money by not needing to burn pots, and is flexible in where they can kill mobs just not as efficiently as at best case maps.
  12. +1 Sounds good, lets more people join instead of mules
  13. +1 If Arnah liked this idea I wouldn't mind it, its mainly for new clerics and I'm all for more priest friends.
  14. +1 Would really help since everyone is wearing the horrid cracked glasses from LPQ since they are the best in slot
  15. I agree that Final Attack's buff barely matters once you start using 3rd job skills.
  16. Personally, I never really got past 7X as a kid so I have no previous experience playing past the versions with Leafre and no previous end-game experience. I don’t know how 4th job and all that really affected the meta, all I remember is there being a point where the person with the best gear got ahead faster (lots of PVP stuff got added). I feel like 3rd job is one of the things that enticed a lot of the playerbase here, for me the idea of 1x rates was my biggest draw with no pay to get ahead options. That being said, if the direction of the server does continue to be 3rd only, I believe if Arnah will continue to do QOL improvements on the skills and classes that feel the weakest then no one will have any issue staying 3rd job.
  17. The issue is the skill's power level, since this is a 3rd job server no one even specs Holy Arrow til after 3rd job skills generally. The power level is so low it's not better to use holy arrow over SR/magic claw/heal in ANY situation except for where you need to maintain a distance. Currently holy arrow is only useful at anego (female boss) but you still do laughable damage. Just chip damage with a DPS class doing the main damage for her.
  18. I feel like with 120 base dmg on Holy Arrow priest is still probably the weakest single target class, I don’t think this will create any big shifts in power dynamic since the damage won’t matter enough for anyone to spec this in 2nd job over the other amazing party buffs and dmg reduction most likely anyway. It’s really just a QOL change for priests.
  19. I would like to second this change, Fire Arrow's base damage is 120 and Holy Arrow's is 80. If you can't do complex changes, a base number buff would make it feel a lot better for priests to be able to use it for a marginally better single target than claw/sr and if you wanted to make a completely damage focused cleric, you could spec holy arrow over bless or something like that.

    Gay Marriage

Assuming it's too much of a pain to have added already, but if there is a possibility to make marriage possible between same sex characters it would be nice to make peenix nostalgic but relevant. There are a lot less high level female characters so it would also make the meso investment more efficient (mainly for Male/Male characters), since sometimes one person in the marriage is just a low level mule. Thoughts appreciated, thanks.
  21. I have noticed since getting to endgame content for phoenix, that there are only a few classes that can realistically train in a diverse landscape. Snipers/Rangers seem to have Crimson guards as their best place, but if they try to go places that do not have safe spots or hit too hard their pot costs are too high to support it economically. It’s a struggle to find sustainable party play if they are not within their limited training spots. Personally I can count the number of times I’ve trained with archers in leafre on one hand. I/L Mages have a similar issue, with limited places to train optimally meaning that these classes are also seldom seen in party play. F/P Mages seem to have a unique play pattern where they just solo has the highest exp mob in multiple channels to level up, but it’s a very lonely class. Both snipers and I/L obviously rely on freezing a lot of their training targets so this may be a large part of the niche training spots. Most of the time I see mages and archers only in passing since we have different places we can train well at. I feel like there must be a way to help diversify parties at more of the popular training spots. It would be cool to see all the classes at more spots, instead of just a couple places. Right now most of the players that engage in party play are hermits, with some DKs and priests thrown in (in large part due to strength of the class). The idea is to include the less popular classes in these parties too somehow. Please reply with your thoughts and suggestions about this issue. I really would like to see some of my friends outside of FM! Edit: In regards to other classes, there are very few players who are high level as of now. I believe there are only a handful of pirates, WKs, and saders that are active. Besides Crimson, Rodzz, and MilkTea there is little representation. Unsure how much their endgame party play options are a factor in this small sample size. One idea is maybe an advantage for the party with an active member of each class, kind of like how OPQ gets a bonus. Another idea would be bringing back % hp/mp pots for the classes that actually struggle with the pot costs to sustain training in different areas. Third idea is adjusting elemental weakness for some mobs to make them more desirable for fire/ice based classes to go to more areas for training.
  22. I think the kpq suggestions are definitely a good possibility to make it more attractive, but doing all these buffs and changing it to 3 players might just result in 1-2 players solo pqing since 3 is the approved multi client number. This would clog up the channels causing potential lockout, depending how popular this would be.
