  1. The mule usage pretty much makes it worthless to add unless it is fixed. 2 people can party up and 1 or both can setup a mule for the opponents. I'll list couple ideas I had for exp changes but never really did more than be ideas. Remove exp from mobs and completely push it to be based on CP. This works even better with all the ideas below. Make rank based on your CP rather then the teams. If team CP now means nothing, give a boost? based on the total amount the team has(excluding yourself). Give additional Exp based on CP spent. Only issue I see with this one is you can spam debuffs at the last minute(Since they stack) but workarounds can be put. Or just don't count the CP spent on debuffs towards this value. Some other thoughts are maybe nerf pot drops but I would have to see how good the current rates are. Obviously none of this is confirmed and honestly without a fix existing for muling & wintrading I kinda lost interest in adding CPQ but still want the pendant to exist somehow. I could IP check for mules but then anyone with family is screwed. Wont stop everyone but would stop most, also, since it is the "Channel Server" it has less information on potential bypassing of this rule too.

    Technically I can but I would also have to edit a skill image to reflect its for leeching somehow. Visually displaying the leech timer is something that is currently missing. If we go the buff route my best idea currently is using the GM Dispel icon as a GM wont personally care it has the incorrect skill name & description while also being a skill icon you wont usually see at the top(Unlike most other GM skills).

    I've updated the original post. I'll list the changes so you can understand what to check for when re-reading. Cleric & Priests have special handling for Heal. Lowered the total 'leech time' you can get. Lowered the amount of time you get per % of damage One concern still is Party Quests but the leech checks can be ignored in those if no other alternative exists.
  4. Wont be happening until nexon implements macros with the text option. Not interested in doing a client edit for a roll command, Guess I could do some other special message type. Also interested in @Kradia's opinion for DPS specifically but I'll take one for EPH too since he gave me his opinion for the kill tracker.

  6. Interested just need to figure out drops. Also have some dark scroll drops that I can convert and move(or just keep in 2 areas?) around from other mobs/bosses if needed

Can find a general WZ addition list from https://maplestory.wiki/GMS/52 although it wont show additions to Item.wz while also not showing any deleted/changed content. A complete v51 > v52 WZ diff is provided as attachment but without any fancy pictures. - This diff was updated after the initial post creation. v51-v52.txt

  9. The quest gives 3 Etc items and then starts another quest that gives an item on start.
  10. While monster book is nice I have no plans to backport content we will likely get normally. Adding kill count to it is a decent idea assuming its not too weird with having to be grabbed each mob you click and have a slight delay for displaying. My stance on releasing droprates also has not changed at all, which is a no.

  12. Other Changes CashShop Event tab has weekly rotating sales. Equips on sale last 30 days and cost 1k NX. CashShop items bought using "PayPal" or "PayByCash/NX Game Card" that have 30 days or longer expiration get an additional 30 days added to the expiration. Storage slot limit has been increased to 96. Party Exp Split will now shift from 60:40 to 80:20 depending on the level difference of the highest party member & the average party level of everyone else excluding the highest level party member. It will happen in 5% increments per 20 level difference, rounded down. Daily boss entry checks now compare by the date instead of the difference in minutes between last entry. This means daily entry limitations are reset as soon as the day changes.

  14. As Phantom posted it should be due to a "one of a kind item" conflict. Wasn't properly tracked before this update so it slipped through again but has been fixed in the next restart to give the proper error message.
  15. Just going to add this here too since some have asked about time estimations for 4th and general outcry over an opinion I have. I see no reason to do it pre-pirates(Assuming that ever happens), and even then that seems super early and is likely not be required for much longer after Pirate release(if ever in the servers lifespan). Seems like I gave my opinion way too early and people took it very seriously. Some skill changes are probably nice to add since we don't have 4th. Would help fill in the gap of nothing really changing with a job other then where it can train. Most good equips that come out of gacha are introduced later anyway. Like BWG, 90, 100, 110 weapons. Just a few things like adventurer cape, some boots, and couple other things that are missing which usually just shoved attack on random equips, or in some cases a couple base stats. Clear outlier is definitely the scrolls. Could do chairs for NX but it would be the unaccessible untradeable ones. Not sure about this idea currently.
  16. Summons should be fixed already since I commented about pushing the hotfix in #support and I haven't seen any further issues from it since.
  17. Sounds like the use of your additive rates is determined as false with your own testing. I assume you thought it was additive due to the misleading skill description. Looks like a recent change with summons is the cause for this. I'm looking into why the issue is occurring and will push a hotfix later today. Arrow bomb is working as intended. Arrow bomb is slightly special where if the attack doesn't knockback the mob, it has a chance to not stun. Which means it has two probability checks per mob hit in some cases.
  18. I'm at the point where I think 4th job would be required eventually if Phoenix continued adding content after a certain point. I don't know when that would be though. Edit: Obviously If it was added I wouldn't allow issues existing with 4th to get added and 4th here wouldn't be comparable to other servers. Another Edit: I don't think it'll be needed anytime soon, nor do I confirm if it'll actually ever be required. I'll re-evaluate this opinion far into the future. This was definitely an issue and it would have been better handled if the rewrited Patcher which had plans for easy hotfixes for the Phoenix.dll was not put on indefinite hold when a 'fix' was found for the issue most people had with nexons original patcher. A post was made in #announcements but like most things it wasn't given a tag. A edit to the v50 patchnotes with [Updated xx] title was done for the "news post". Not best way but it was partially done. And I keep forgetting to put it as a slide message at the top of peoples screens for awhile(Which I will do in a bit now that I'm reminded) The quote you are mentioning is definitely the goal/vision. With Phoenix I am just trying to update the game through the versions similar to how Nexon did it back in 2005 to where it is now. Obviously, I have no plans to do it for 15 years like Nexon but that is the plan. Just update 1by1 like Nexon. For Roadmap it's about as confirmed as I know right now other then me wanting to release pirates. I agree. Not too sure why update pausing would need to happen as it just needs a proper discussions for fixes which can then be implemented & tested in under a month. Drops are definitely a good reason to enable choosing between areas to train at. Also some slight spawn changes possibly. I'm probably more on nerfing(haha i only nerf) a spot that is just 'better' than leafre rather than adjusting leafre. Also like you said, other content like showa can also make Leafre easier. Maybe soon
  19. Skill Changes Heal: You will not obtain Exp from Healing party members unless you are considered to be actively leeching from your party members. You are not leeching if you are tagged as afk or you are doing a majority of the damage. Exp obtained from heal has been massively increased while also encouraging the healing of higher level players where as before it preferred low level, high hp players. Holy Symbol: Reduced to 10% exp bonus at max level. Doesn't require any specific amount of players to give the full effect Doesn't multiply off party bonus exp. Increases exp gained from heal. Critical Shot (Archer): Success rate increased to 50% from 40% at max level. Soul Arrow (Archer): Consume 100 arrows to fire an infinite number of arrows for the duration of the buff. Includes weapon attack from currently equipped arrow. Strafe (Archer): Damage increased to 110% from 100% at max level. Final Attack (Warrior & Archer): Delay until final attack animation starts is reduced by 50%. Drain: Reduced the max amount of HP you can absorb at once to 33% of your Max HP instead of 50% Double Shot (Pirate): Damage increased to 110% from 80% at max level. Backspin Blow, Corkscrew Blow: Reduced the delay when hitting a monster. Burst Fire: Damaged increased to 230% from 210% at max level.

  21. The apple suit start is v37 or v38. We also recently had another maple island change with some mob spawn changes in v49. While we want to provide the original experience, that experience also changed and It's not the servers goal to keep certain things old.
  22. This is already what the money you give is partially for. Advertising on GTOP is good but efforts to go outside of just PS scene and more into maple is definitely required but much more expensive and a bit more difficult with lots of advertisement systems require proof of identity. Maybe identity thing isn't actually required and I just get flagged but no clue atm.
